Musicians use lots and lots of energy. All those 100 watt Marshall, Laney, Fender and Mesa stacks in addition to PA systems, lighting rigs, lasers and tour buses sucking lots of juice and gas, even as the artists spout about being kind to the environment they are contributing to energy consumption.
Therefore, how about the musician community gets together with musical and sound equipment manufacturers as well as club and arena owners to devise ways and technologies to trim their use of energy without degrading sound and performance quality? That would give them more moral authority on this issue. Walk it like you talk it.
