Why would anyone want to visit the U.S.? Customs officers feel they can do anything they want now under the authoritarian Bush regime and are always surly to both tourist and American citizen alike while asking often invasive questions that are none of their god damned business.
And yeah, I do recognize they have a hard job. But that is no excuse for being a jerk just because you can.
The customs people at SEA-TAC suck in particular.
